Melanie Garrison

Melanie Garrison is the Center Supervisor at the Business Interface office in Wilmington, DE. She brings nearly 30 years of experience from the Pennsylvania child welfare system, where she retired as an In-home Supervisor. Driven by a continued desire to help those in need, Ms. Garrison transitioned into a second career focused on training and skill development. She found great joy in training both staff and clients, which became a fulfilling aspect of her professional life.

As the oldest of three siblings, Ms. Garrison often took on the role of "monitor" or "teacher," so becoming a workforce development trainer feels like a natural fit for her.

In her free time, Ms. Garrison enjoys listening to music, dancing, reading mystery novels, and hosting dinner parties for friends and family. Experimenting in the kitchen is one of her passions, and she enjoys learning new skills while preparing meals for others.

Ms. Garrison’s favorite quote is, “Lead, follow, or get out of the way,” reflecting her straightforward approach to leadership and teamwork.
